The Public Relations Assistant is an exciting opportunity to become involved in the development of projects that will deliver physical activity and health education to vulnerable adults. As part of the programme's development team, you will have the opportunity to diversify your skills, learning hands-on experience in Business Administration, Market Research and Public Relations.

Duties:
  • Use social media to develop networking opportunities and resources within the community by utilising the web and social media. 
  • Develop the social media marketing strategy to promote health and wellbeing in the community over a short, medium and long-term period.
  • Assist with programme administration and organising social media scheduling.
  • Designing and developing the contents of our website.
  • Researching social media health promotion news for the community.
  • Use social media to bring up-to-date health news to our audience.
  • Use social media to develop networking opportunities and resources.
  • Liaising with external organisations to promote and plan wellbeing events.
  • Develop networking opportunities and resources within the community.
  • Promote and develop the marketing strategy to promote health and wellbeing in the community.
  • Attend events that promote health and well-being in the community and provide a platform for Healthiness Ltd to showcase their services.

Volunteer Personal Assistant

The Personal Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to become involved in the development of the Healthiness Ltd an organisation which delivers physical activity and health education to vulnerable adults. As part of the team, you will assist the Managing Director in the day-to-day running of multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in Administration, Communications, Management, Market Research, Social Media, Retention, Programme Development, Human Resources, Health & Safety, Outreach and Accountancy. You will work directly with the Managing Director as their Personal Assistant, providing you with a direct insight into business management.

Duties:
  • Assist the managing director in the daily organisation of administration duties.
  • Assist with Programme Administration.
  • Use Communications to develop networking opportunities and resources within the community.
  • Liaising with external organisations to promote and plan wellbeing events.
  • Assist in the implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Receiving and making phone calls, acting as central point of contact for the project team and potential clients. 
  • Planning and organising professional liaisons and meetings with external providers, contractors and beneficiaries.
  • Administer contact with prime organisations including day centres, churches, community centres and care home settings to access programme delivery.
  • Facilitate in the recruitment and selection of volunteers and new staff, facilitating their induction, management and employee protocols.

Cycle Project Assistant

The Cycle Project Assistant is an exciting opportunity to become involved in the development of a dynamic Healthiness project. Healthiness delivers physical activity and health education to vulnerable adults in the community. The cycle project assistant will facilitate with the project development and delivery of Cycle Safari, a cycle project aimed to facilitate confidence in cycling ability from absolute beginners to cycle adventurers.

Duties:
  • Liaise with external organisations and partners to promote cycling in the community and develop professional relationships.
  • Communicate with external organisations to develop partnerships.
  • Assist with the delivery of cycle rides and beginner's cycle classes.
  • Perform risk assessments of potential cycle routes.

Skills:
  • Have basic knowledge of bike maintenance (Desirable)
